Q&A:
SoundTrap or Video first? You can work in whichever order suits you. I will give you all warning before I finalize the Soundtrap projects. How do I send you my audio? Your Soundtrap track will be "your audio" when I assemble the project. Just be complete your file in the project. I will already "have" it because I have access to the project. You don't have to do anything else. How do I do the video? The video I need from you should be recorded with you watching and listening to the Backing Track. Because you are involved in the SoundTrap project, YOU should NOT use earbuds or headphones while doing this. I want to hear The Backing Track on your video recording. And yes, you DO need to submit your video the same way you used to, to the Google Drive: HERE. Can I sing along with the video? You can sing along, or not as you wish. None of this will be heard in the final project. Do I have to do the Sync Clap? YOU do not have to do the Sync Clap; you should start your video just after the sync clap where I'm talking about singing with love and smiling. How will my video be used? Being able to hear the audio from the backing track makes lining up your video very easy. After I line up your video, I will completely mute the audio that accompanies it and only use your SoundTrap track. |
Technical suggestions:
If the directions below don't work for you, try this: Click the cog wheel in the upper right corner of your profile page (1) and select Edit profile (2). Open the Notifications tab (3) and update your settings. Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the page when you're done (4). TO get rid of ALL those annoying emails whenever ANYONE updates the project, do this: Upper right corner, select "exit studio." This takes you to your SoundTrap home page. Left hand panel (mine is purple) with your name at the top and three dots beside it. click the 3 dots. Select "settings." Scroll down until you find notifications. UNSELECT EVERYTHING! :-) TO find your SoundTrap Home Page: When I select "exit studio" (Upper right corner of the studio page) it automatically goes to the Home Page, where it will ask you again again again to pay for the service. Scroll down a little bit and you'll see your projects. |
